Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain the Press: Set up, run, and maintain the Digital HP 30000 Press daily, ensuring optimal performance and quality.
  • Ensure Safety and Quality: Oversee that all safety procedures are followed by crew members, and correct or report any unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
  • Perform Preventive Maintenance: Ensure proper equipment maintenance, including preventive maintenance procedures and documentation to verify conformance.
  • Read and Understand Job Tickets: Ability to read and comprehend job tickets, ensuring accurate production and quality control.
  • Maintain Tools and Instruments: Responsible for maintaining and understanding all tools and instruments necessary to operate and maintain the press.
  • Communicate with Supervisor: Inform the supervisor of parts or service required to keep the press performing at the maximum level.
  • Collaborate with Other Departments: Cooperate with other departments when interaction is necessary for job production.
  • Perform Additional Duties: Perform these and other duties as requested by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Five years of experience in the digital print industry (a plus, but not required).
  • Skills: Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize; strong interpersonal and communication skills; strong attention to detail and good eye for color; ability to follow instructions to assist in operation and maintenance.
  • Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
