Job Overview
Buff City Soap, a leading manufacturer of handmade soap products in Texas and Oklahoma, is seeking a skilled Soap Making Team Lead to join our team. Salary: The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities:
  • Main responsibility is to lead the Makery Associates in creating high-quality handcrafted products.
  • Maintain a clean and organized production area, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are properly stored and utilized.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, and quality control.
  • Provide training and guidance to new employees to ensure they understand company policies and procedures.
  • Foster a positive and supportive work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication among staff members.
  • Closely monitor inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Maintain accurate records of production, including product yields, costs, and quality metrics.

Requirements:
  • Prior experience in a production or manufacturing setting, preferably with a focus on soap making or similar industry.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, while maintaining a high level of productivity and attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
