Our Healing Journeys Program is a Category III Center with the National Child Traumatic Stress Network (NCTSN), and we provide direct clinical and case management services to immigrant and refugee youth and families aged 0-21 years old from diverse backgrounds.

Job Summary

The Manager of Clinical Training and Supervision will oversee the clinical student training program and ensure that the clinical supervision needs of students, staff, and volunteers are met. This role will support the onboarding and training of clinical staff and the development of clinical protocol and clinical framework across the Kovler Center's programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the clinical student training program, including interviewing and placing graduate students, ensuring they have appropriate clinical supervision, and addressing concerns and remediation needs.
  • Oversee the clinical supervision and training needs of staff and volunteer clinicians, including ensuring they have regular and appropriate supervisory support.
  • Develop clinical onboarding protocol across MKC and support the onboarding of new employees.
  • Collaboratively develop Kovler's clinical protocol and framework, as well as the clinical protocol and framework of each program.
  • Provide high-quality, culturally and linguistically responsive, trauma-informed clinical services and interventions to best meet the needs of immigrant and refugee youth and families.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in social work (MSW), MA in Clinical or Counseling fields, or PsyD in Clinical Psychology.
  • Minimum four (4) years of clinical and supervisory experience.
  • Certifications/Licenses: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, or Clinical Psychologist Degree required.
