Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our Thoracic Disease Program at Dignity Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and contributing to the development of our program.

Responsibilities
  • Perform patient evaluations, review pretreatment plans, and recommend therapeutic interventions
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide direct care interventions
  • Manage patient care, including admissions, discharges, and progress notes
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary rounding and coordinate care with care management
  • Provide care for scheduled lung transplant patients in the clinic
  • Coordinate care of lung transplant clinic patients with RN Transplant Coordinators
  • Participate in department reviews and academic activities
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and standards for billing and documentation
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years clinical experience in a related area or specialty field
  • Background in pre-med
  • Degree as a Physician Assistant
  • Hold and maintain AZ Regulatory Board of Physician Assistants License, NCCPA certification, valid DEA registration, and American Heart Association certifications
Pay Range

$95.47/hour
