Job Title: Registered Nurse House Supervisor

Penn State Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to serve as a House Supervisor for our nursing team in Enola, Pennsylvania.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for exercising delegated administrative responsibility and authority for the supervision of all hospital personnel and functions within the assigned work unit/location for assigned shift. This leader will serve as a resource person in facilitating efficient operational activities throughout the organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and staff satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support to nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
  • BLS certification required prior to orientation completion.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
  • ACLS certification preferred.
