Job Summary:

As a key member of our Behavioral Health team, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a small group or program, with both administrative and client caseload responsibilities. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Budget Management: Develop and implement budget recommendations to ensure effective resource allocation.
  • Staff Supervision: Provide guidance and support to staff members, including input into hiring decisions and performance evaluations.
  • Program Design and Implementation: Oversee the design and implementation of programs, including IOP/Adolescent/Crisis Team initiatives.
  • Utilization Management: Monitor access indicators and ensure effective utilization management practices.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum two (2) years of post-license, paid experience as a member of a psychiatric treatment team in an outpatient setting/program under licensed supervision.
  • Education: Masters degree in applied behavioral science required.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California) OR Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California) OR Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (California). National Provider Identifier required at hire.
Additional Requirements:
  • Knowledge of State Regulations: Familiarity with state regulations regarding ethics, treatment, patient rights, and confidentiality.
  • Professional Development: Ability to meet couples and families requirement or complete within two (2) years of hire (for Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor). Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
