Behavioral Health Specialist Adolescent Care Coordinator

As a Behavioral Health Specialist Adolescent Care Coordinator at Newport Healthcare, you will play a vital role in providing supervision and support to our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents, while building a rapport with them and assisting them in working with a group and handling individual problems. You will also be responsible for setting limits for behavior, creating documentation of client progress, and identifying the need for professional services and communicating findings to professional staff. Additionally, you will contribute to the care and upkeep of the environment of care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide supervision and support to clients, ensuring their safety and well-being
Assist clients in working with a group and handling individual problems

Contribute to the care and upkeep of the environment of care
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required
Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, or sociology preferred
Prior work experience in behavioral health treatment settings with adolescents a plus
Must have a valid driver's license and be eligible for insurance coverage for driving the company's vehicles
Must become CPI and CPR certified within first 30 days
Benefits
Competitive salary range: $20.00/hr to $25.80/hr based on education and experience
