Job Title: Assembly Technician

At ITEC Co., we are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for the assembly of transformers, ensuring high-quality products that meet our customers' needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Splice and crimp leads, and connect leads to terminal blocks.
  • Maintain inventory of necessary items.
  • Clean tanks, parts, and coils.
  • Measure and cut pressboard as needed.
  • Review drawings and follow Bill of Materials to ensure correct assembly.
  • Document all work and maintain accurate records.
  • Monitor equipment and load tank assemblies in/out of the oven.
  • Test finished assemblies before moving them to the oven.
  • Use the Infor ERP computer system to log in and track time by item and job.
  • Meet or exceed daily production goals and quality requirements.
Requirements:
  • Dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Basic math skills and ability to use computers.
  • Mechanical skills, including use of hand and power tools.
  • Technical skills, including understanding of technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Physical strength to lift heavy components.
