Job Summary:

Aircraft Maintenance Specialist sought by Lockheed Martin to apply comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation, schematics, and manufacturers manuals. The ideal candidate will maintain, repair, and modify aircraft structures and structural components of moderate difficulty, and possess thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting, repair procedures, and replacement of parts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair aircraft components, including flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components.
  • Apply technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in determining equipment malfunctions and restoring equipment condition.
  • Interpret technical documentation, such as blueprints or manufacturers manuals, to solve moderate to complex problems.
  • Work with higher leadership to prioritize workload and meet day-to-day flight schedules.
  • Make entries in aircraft logs and records as required.

Requirements:

  • 6 years of rotatory wing aviation experience minimum.
  • Knowledgeable with ACN and IETMS.
  • Good leadership skills, including strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload to meet aircraft delivery schedules.
  • US Citizenship required for government security clearance.
