Position Overview

We are seeking a highly qualified and empathetic Radiation Oncology Medical Physicist to enhance our expert team. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine and periodic radiation measurements and calibrations on treatment equipment.
  • Oversee the functionality and safety of equipment within the Radiation Oncology Department.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and documentation.
  • Evaluate treatment plans and oversee dosimetry planning processes.
  • Implement patient assessments and treatments tailored to individual developmental needs.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or PhD in Medical Physics.
  • Board certification in Therapeutic Medical Physics or eligibility through a CAMPEP accredited residency.
  • Preferred experience of 2+ years in clinical Therapy Medical Physics.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to interpret and apply regulatory guidelines.
  • Commitment to exceptional service for clients and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated initiative and organizational skills.
  • Proficient problem-solving abilities with a focus on practical solutions.

  • Ability to operate and transport equipment.
  • Engagement in various physical activities including standing, walking, and lifting.
  • Exposure to typical conditions found in radiation therapy settings.
  • Flexibility for occasional evening or weekend duties.
