Job Summary

Epic Oncology Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Medical Physicist to join its Radiation Oncology team. As a key member of our team, you will provide physics consultation to all Radiation Oncology personnel, ensuring the highest level of patient care and treatment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide physics consultation to Radiation Oncology personnel on aspects of patient care and treatment
  • Collaborate with the Department of Radiation Oncology at Indiana University School of Medicine to provide clinical service, quality improvement, research, and teaching
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and treatment
  • Conduct research in the field of radiation oncology and present findings to the team
  • Teach and mentor students and residents in the field of radiation oncology
  • Participate in the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures
Requirements
  • PhD in Medical Physics
  • Certification by the American Board of Radiology in Therapeutic Radiological Physics or completion of a medical physics residency
  • 3+ years of experience in radiation oncology
  • X state license (if required by state)
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively to a group
  • Strong technical aptitude and analytical skills
  • Ability to resolve complex technical issues independently
  • Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Strong time management skills
