MRI Technologist

Wellstar Health System, Inc. is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI scans, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
- Position patients for exams, ensuring accurate and safe imaging procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust equipment settings as needed
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information and exam results
- Successful completion of an accredited MRI program or ARRT-R certification
- Minimum 1 year experience in a clinical setting, preferably in MRI
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
