Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at East Cobb Health Park. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI scans, ensuring patient safety, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI scans on patients, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during scans, using proper positioning and immobilization techniques.
  • Operate MRI equipment, including scanners and related systems, to produce high-quality images.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, scan results, and equipment maintenance.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in MRI technology and techniques.

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of an accredited MRI program or ARRT-R certification.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a clinical setting, with preference for MRI experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and willingness to obtain additional certifications as required.
