Horticulture Technician

Position: Cultivation Technician

Authority & Supervision:

• Reports to Cultivation Supervisors and Team Leads, with oversight from the Assistant Cultivation Manager and Cultivation Manager.

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday (No Weekends)
  • 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Occasional adjustments to start times based on cultivation production needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the quality of all produced items.
• Maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
• Document all sanitation activities in the appropriate logs.
• Perform daily plant care tasks, including pruning and trellising.
• Keep vegetative, flowering, and drying areas clean and fully functional.
  • Regularly sweep and mop floors.
  • Clear trays of leaves.
  • Log and dispose of waste at the end of each day.
• Record and track all grow room data as instructed.
• Transplant and harvest crops.
• Clean and prepare equipment.
• Report any leaks or equipment malfunctions.
• Participate in maintaining overall facility cleanliness, including room resets.
• Undertake additional tasks and special projects as required.

Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality.
• Positive and energetic attitude.
• Demonstrated work ethic, reliability, and professionalism.
• Excellent listening abilities.
• Knowledge of cannabis is preferred.
• Experience in horticulture is advantageous.
• Familiarity with plumbing and electrical systems is a plus.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Possess a valid driver's license or state identification.
• Pass all necessary background checks.
• Availability to work nights, holidays, and weekends as needed.
• Comply with all legal and company regulations related to the industry.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 30+ pounds of materials and equipment (100 pounds with assistance).
• Comfortable with prolonged periods of standing or moving.
• Adaptable to variable environments, including high temperatures and humidity.
• Willingness to work at heights exceeding 6 feet on lifts or heavy equipment.
