Respiratory Care Specialist

At Dartmouth Health, we are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in the critical care setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in respiratory care and be able to assess patients and develop treatment plans in conjunction with the provider.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients and develop treatment plans in conjunction with the provider
  • Provide emergency care, including assisting with or performing intubations, attending rapid responses/codes, and responding to traumas
  • Attend multidisciplinary rounds and initiate and manage mechanical ventilation
  • Perform arterial sampling, including arterial puncture and arterial lines, and conduct overnight oximetry studies
  • Assist with bronchoscopies and pulmonary function testing

Requirements:

  • A.S. Degree in Respiratory Care from an AHA accredited program
  • CRT (RRT preferred)
  • Current New Hampshire license
  • BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
  • PALS preferred and experience in EPIC
