Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Cheshire Medical Center. As a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and assisting in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with pulmonary disorders.

Responsibilities:

Collects and analyzes sputum, blood, and breath specimens to determine levels of oxygen, carbon dioxide, and other gases.
Measures the lung capacity of a patient to determine if there is impaired function.
Administers treatment prescribed by a physician for the care of patients with abnormalities associated with the process of breathing.
Assumes primary responsibility for respiratory care treatments, including oversight of respiratory therapy technicians.

Requirements:

Minimum 2+ years CURRENT experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
RRT (include verification with submission) - Required.
PALS and CPFT - Highly Preferred.
Previous travel experience - Highly Preferred.
Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need.

Additional Requirements:

ACLS certification.
NRP certification.
BLS (AHA) certification.
NBRC certification.
New Hampshire state license.
NH RCP certification.

Work Schedule:

Every Other Weekend.
No on-call requirements.

Important Notes:

Local travelers (those who reside within 50 miles of facility) will not be considered for this need.
No non-billable orientation.
Holiday and OT Multipliers: 1.25%
