Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the kitchen and dining areas in a clean and orderly condition, adhering to high standards of sanitation and safety.
  • Wash, clean, sanitize, and store all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and other equipment used to operate the kitchen and dining room areas.
  • Clean floors, equipment, and other areas as assigned, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents and staff.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and promote a restaurant-style dining atmosphere, ensuring a positive experience for our residents.
  • Work closely with the Director of Culinary Services and/or Executive Director to maintain high standards of food quality and resident satisfaction.
  • Maintain the dish room area in a neat, clean, and sanitary manner, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with the preparation and execution of special events, banquets, and theme meals, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our residents.
  • Attend pre-meal stand-up meetings in the kitchen prior to meal service, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
Requirements
  • Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
