Job Summary

At Élephante, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dishroom Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring all service and kitchen wares are clean and sanitized. This includes interacting with fellow team members and supervisors in a polite and courteous manner to provide gracious hospitality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a professional appearance as directed in the Company Employee Handbook.
  • Anticipate and accommodate the needs of all employees.
  • Aid in cleaning inside and outside the venue.
  • Properly store and remove garbage and soiled linens.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dish station, kitchen, and entire venue.
  • Follow supervisor's instructions, communicate with and support co-workers while being a team player.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of the dish machine.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of proper usage of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies.
  • Possess general knowledge of the venue.
  • Comply with Department of Health and company sanitation standards.
  • Communicate product needs to the chefs and/or purchaser.
  • Properly set-up the dish station and perform opening/closing procedures as directed by management.

Requirements

  • Company in-venue Dish Washer training and Food Handling Certificate.
  • Previous porter and/or Dish Washer experience preferred.
  • Ability to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods.
  • Ability to work and remain focused in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
