Medical Records Manager

Touchstone Communities is excited to announce the newest community to join our family, La Frontera Nursing and Rehab Center. We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Records Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of all medical records, including resident PHI (protected health information).
  • Protect medical records from loss, defacing, or destruction before retention period ends.
  • Retrieve and request medical records promptly upon request by authorized individuals.
  • Identify late, incomplete, and/or inaccurate documentation and report to individuals responsible for completion and accuracy.
  • Assist in ensuring that Medicare patients have timely certifications/re-certifications signed by the attending physician.
  • Audit medical records, as assigned.
  • Receive and file all diagnostic reports promptly and accurately.
  • Ensure all state, federal, and company guidelines are followed regarding medical records.
