About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our team at HEICO. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling components for aviation and ground vehicle fuel systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble components for aviation and ground vehicle fuel systems
  • Read and understand mechanical assembly drawings, work orders, and manufacturing orders
  • Initiate Non Conformance Report requests for drawings, shop orders, and manufacturing orders
  • Disassemble and clean components for aviation and ground vehicle systems
  • Test and troubleshoot sub-systems and complete assemblies
  • Operate a broad variety of equipment and hand/power tools in a safe and efficient manner
  • Packages/Crates components and fuel systems using proper packing procedures and prepares packages/crates for shipping
  • Interact with Quality and Supply Chain as required
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a Manufacturing role
  • Demonstrated ability to perform level I and II tasks per the training matrix
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprint dimensions and specifications
  • Ability to use specialty tools such as torque wrench, gauges, measuring devices
  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in a mechanical assembly environment
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from colleagues
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
