About the Role:

As a Mechanical Technician at Sulzer Pumps (US) Inc., you will play a critical role in delivering superior results by troubleshooting and repairing electro-mechanical equipment. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment, and your contributions will have a direct impact on our customers' success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read job cards to determine job status, work authorization, and estimate

• Test electro-mechanical equipment to troubleshoot known or suspected problems

• Disassemble equipment, noting parts identifications, configuration, and condition

• Clean equipment assemblies as needed, using various methods and steps

• Measure for or note proper replacement parts and requisition needed items from the storekeeper

• Replace or repair worn or defective mechanical or electro-mechanical assemblies

• Retest reassembled equipment for proper output and operation

• Complete required paperwork accurately and on a timely basis

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Basic mechanical aptitude

• Ability to understand, perform, and retain various skill-related training and operational and safety procedures demonstrated by supervisor
