Role Overview:
As a Blade Repair Services Technician Associate, you will be integral to our internal blade repair service team, a vital unit responsible for the maintenance, inspection, and repair of turbine blades, ultimately reducing downtime and enhancing productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all operational and maintenance tasks are executed safely and in accordance with established policies and procedures, including the use of necessary safety gear.
- Access wind turbines and perform composite repair and maintenance duties.
- Transport essential tools and materials to various job sites.
- Assist in the setup and operation of the up-tower blade access mechanism.
- Support a team in conducting composite repairs on platforms and ground access for multiple turbine manufacturers.
- Oversee the mobilization and proper maintenance of all repair equipment.
- Perform safety and wind farm-related tasks as assigned and provide backup support at other sites when required.
Qualifications:
- An associate degree in science or a related discipline from an accredited institution is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in operations and maintenance within power generation, blade repair, or related fields.
- Experience in renewable energy, particularly in wind, is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with project development or related sectors in the power industry is advantageous.
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and maintain organization.
- Willingness to relocate within a one-hour drive of the job site.
- Capability to obtain and maintain an RWE-sponsored Commercial Driver License (CDL) for equipment mobilization.
- Understanding of wind turbine blade construction, inspection, and repair processes.
- Previous experience with Blade Access Platforms and rigging is preferred.
- Knowledge of composite materials, including epoxy resins and polyurethane fillers.
- Physical ability to work in confined spaces and handle equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Teams.
- Ability to implement energy isolation points and LOTO procedures for safety.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
This position involves site-based work with occasional travel, requiring the ability to navigate safety risks and perform maintenance tasks in various weather conditions.
