Job Title: Medical Assistant Certified

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant Certified to join our team at our Vancouver - Fourth Plain Medical Clinic.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Medical Assistant Certified who possesses excellent customer service skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to multitask effectively. As a Medical Assistant Certified, you will play a vital role in ensuring patient flow and providing quality patient care in a safe and timely manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Room and exit patients in accordance with established protocols.
  • Complete all provider referrals for each patient.
  • Administer injections and distribute oral medications under physicians' orders; perform venipuncture.
  • Assist the medical provider with charting office visits; ensure communication and documentation for comprehensive patient care coordination.

Requirements:

  • Washington State MA-Certificate or MA-Interim License with the ability to pass the exam within the 90-day probationary period.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification within 90 days of hire date and maintenance throughout employment.
  • EPIC experience preferred but not required.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred but not required.
