Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Security Technician to join our team at Outsource. As a key member of our low-voltage and electrical talent team, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and troubleshooting security devices in a commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installing and terminating end devices for access control, CCTV, intrusion/burglar alarm, and security infrastructure
  • Installation of low-voltage wire for security devices
  • Terminating and installing end devices such as card/badge readers, motion detectors, door strikes, mag locks, cameras, keypads, door contacts, etc.

Requirements:

  • Recent experience performing access control/security installations in a commercial setting
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
  • Working knowledge of test equipment such as multi-meters, digital analyzers, battery analyzers, frequency meter, decibel meters, and communicating devices
  • Certifications and/or experience with Bosch, Honeywell, DMP, Honeywell, Lenel, AMAG, S2, Softwarehouse, Hirsch, GE, Sony, Pelco, etc. is a plus
