Rehabilitation Medicine Specialist

Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled Physiatrist to become a vital part of our healthcare team at Toni Group, LLC. This role provides a competitive salary structure with opportunities for performance-based bonuses and a robust benefits package. The successful candidate will be Board Eligible or Board Certified (BE/BC) in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) and must possess or be willing to secure a medical license in Washington state. The focus will primarily be on adult patients, with limited involvement in pediatric cases.
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess and manage patients experiencing a variety of physical disabilities and medical conditions, including those related to musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiovascular systems.
- Create tailored rehabilitation strategies aimed at enhancing patient mobility, functionality, and overall quality of life.
- Work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including physical and occupational therapists, to deliver holistic patient care.
- Conduct and analyze diagnostic evaluations, such as electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction studies.
- Implement therapeutic procedures, including injections and medication management, as well as other non-invasive treatment options.
- Provide patient education to foster wellness and promote preventive healthcare practices.
- Maintain thorough and precise patient documentation, ensuring adherence to all applicable regulatory requirements.
- Engage in continuous professional development through CME opportunities to remain informed about advancements in the field of physiatry.
Required Qualifications:
- Board Eligible or Board Certified (BE/BC) in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R).
- Possession of a valid Washington state medical license or a commitment to obtain one.
- Experience in treating adult patients with rehabilitation needs and physical disabilities, with minimal exposure to pediatric cases.
- Strong diagnostic acumen and therapeutic capabilities, with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team.
- Dedication to ongoing professional growth and staying updated in the field of physiatry.
