Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Care Manager - Acute Unit to join our team at LifeBridge Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and leadership to our nursing staff.

About the Role

The Nurse Care Manager - Acute Unit is responsible for providing direct patient care, assessing patient needs, and developing individualized plans of care. You will also supervise and mentor other nurses, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and support to deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, develop and implement individualized plans of care, and evaluate the effectiveness of these plans.
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patients' conditions.
  • Serve as a role model and mentor to other nurses, providing guidance, support, and feedback to help them improve their skills and performance.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of other nurses, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care and that nursing standards are met.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in nursing, with a focus on acute care. You should possess excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A Maryland Registered Nurse License and BLS certification are also required.
