About the Role
\We are seeking a Geriatric Care Professional to join our team at Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital, part of LifeBridge Health. As one of the largest healthcare providers in Maryland, we strive to provide exceptional care to our patients.
\Job Summary
\This is a full-time position with a weekend commitment, offering day and evening shifts from 7:00am-7:30pm. The ideal candidate will provide safe, age-appropriate patient care, assisting with Activities of Daily Living while maintaining a safe and clean environment.
\Responsibilities
\- \
- Assist patients with daily living tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.\
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.\
- Support nursing staff with various tasks and responsibilities.\\
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.\\
- Familiarity with basic medical equipment, such as Hoyer lifts and specialty beds.\\
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required; GNA licensure and CPR certification necessary.\\
- Less than one year of experience preferred.\\
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Synquest and communication devices required.\\
