BWXT is seeking a skilled Nuclear Manufacturing Engineer to provide engineering support across various sections of the Nuclear Operations Group Lynchburg.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and be able to develop and deliver unique engineering solutions used in a nuclear manufacturing environment.
- Track, trend, and analyze data from development efforts and production campaigns.
- Make recommendations based upon analyzed data.
- Support shop floor operations, resolve issues, and generate process improvement ideas.
- Engage in multi-disciplinary teams to support product quality and on-time delivery.
- Ensure compliance to contract specifications.
- Prioritize and coordinate multiple engineering activities.
- Perform process monitoring on applicable processes and products.
- Interpret contract and drawing requirements to create/modify Operating Procedures, Guidelines, Forms, and Programs.
- Participate in design, testing, analysis, project management, and procurement of materials.
