Position Overview: Supply Chain Manager

This position offers a remarkable opportunity to engage with comprehensive Supply Chain operations and positively influence service delivery to both internal and external stakeholders.

The Amazon Services LLC (AMXL) Supply Chain division is in search of an experienced supply chain manager who has demonstrated success in achieving objectives to lead and enhance the organization’s mid-term planning processes.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate the integration of end-to-end supply chain change management strategies to fulfill the requirements of both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage organization-wide initiatives, large-scale event planning, and retrospective evaluations.
  • Collaborate across the North America division in a cross-functional environment with teams in forecasting, Fulfillment Centers, Sort Centers, Delivery Stations, and Technology.
  • Develop standardized planning methodologies for all AMXL planning cycles, including documenting assumptions and initiatives, as well as creating tracking systems to monitor initiative progress.
  • Assess the quality of network initiative implementations, track progress, and adjust plans to align with the latest quarterly guidance.
  • Improve communication pathways and promote collaboration with various Supply Chain execution and Long-Term Planning teams.
  • Identify and address gaps among teams, processes, and systems to mitigate risks associated with flawed assumptions and insufficient stakeholder reviews.
  • Promote continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline operations and eliminate non-value-added activities.
  • Actively pursue collaboration and standardization of processes across diverse business lines and geographical locations.
Daily Responsibilities:

This role is pivotal in establishing precise quarterly guidance targets and operational plans by partnering with Finance, Supply Chain execution, Long-Term Planning, Last Mile Execution AMXL teams, and MOP & SCOT teams.

The responsibilities include supporting the Last Mile phase of planning horizons and maintaining plan comparisons.

About the Team:

The North America Supply Chain team oversees the complete supply chain for AMXL, which includes inventory planning and placement, fulfillment, middle-mile, last-mile delivery, and customer/vendor returns. Our mission is to create a premier heavy/bulky supply chain that excels in customer satisfaction, speed, and cost-effectiveness.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in program or project management
  • 3+ years of experience in defining and executing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
  • Experience utilizing data and metrics to identify and implement enhancements
  • Background in cross-functional collaboration with both technical and non-technical teams
  • Previous experience in PMO or Supply Chain Project Management
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior management
  • 3+ years of experience in driving process enhancements
  • Proficiency in stakeholder management, engaging multiple stakeholders at various organizational levels
  • Strong background in process development, project management, and timeline management
