Job Description

As a Computer-Aided Manufacturing Engineer at Lockheed Martin Corporation, you will play a critical role in developing and supporting manufacturing processes for rigid, flexible, or rigid-flex printed wiring boards. Our team is responsible for creating and maintaining work instruction/task lists, developing rework/repair instructions from service notifications, assisting in design and producibility reviews, initiating process improvements, and validating processes and new equipment in support of the Dallas electrical shop PWB operation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create tooling files for associated production machines
  • Drive collaboration across the shops and labs
  • Interface with shop floor personnel, shop management, and program management

This position requires 2 years of professional experience and a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline. Experience with Computer-Aided Design, Computer-Aided Manufacturing, or scripting is also required. Additionally, the ability to interpret drawings and specifications to develop and translate into work instructions, as well as experience in troubleshooting problems and developing solutions, is necessary.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
  • 2+ years of professional work experience
  • Experience with Computer-Aided Design, Computer-Aided Manufacturing, or scripting
  • Ability to interpret drawings and specifications to develop and translate into work instructions
  • Experience in troubleshooting problems and developing solutions
