Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Planner Associate to join our team at Lockheed Martin. As a key member of our Production, Planning and Control organization, you will play a critical role in coordinating interdepartmental activity and ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, contracts administration, and other departments to ensure efficient production planning and execution.
  • Schedule and expedite the movement of parts using move orders, stock transfers, and requests for shipping orders.
  • Travel to production sites and vendor locations as required, and work outside of normal operating hours as needed.
Requirements
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance.
  • Proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
  • Knowledge of Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS).
Desired Skills
  • Inventory control and material handling knowledge.
  • Experience with material requirements and Dock/Receiving/Warehouse/Shipping areas.
  • Black Belt trained/certified.
  • Ability to understand engineering drawings and parts lists.
  • APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification.

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five-day work week while others may be condensed.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
