Sonepar is seeking a Receiving Operations Coordinator to enhance our logistics team.

Position Overview:

The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the accuracy of incoming materials, monitor various data points related to received goods, and guarantee proper stocking within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive substantial shipments and verify the contents against the invoice details. Confirm the Purchase Order (PO) or Bill of Lading (BOL) to ensure the products match the shipped items and quantities. Safely stock goods within the warehouse environment. Document shipment details, including parcel weight, number of parcels, duty charges, and other relevant parameters. Track net expenses and related data for goods shipped to customers. Identify issues such as merchandise shortages, damages, or prolonged demand, and adjust stock levels accordingly.

Qualifications:

Proficient in managing multiple large deliveries. Capable of creating and printing invoices. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly MS Outlook and MS Excel. Strong communication and organizational skills for maintaining records of invoices, bills of lading, POs, etc. Self-motivated and a collaborative team player. Proactive in taking the initiative to perform necessary tasks. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and follow-through abilities. Reliable, with strong time management skills, attention to detail, and accuracy in providing information. Ability to operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as forklifts, order pickers, and electric pallet jacks. Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience with a solid understanding of product flow within a warehouse. Knowledge of identifying low inventory levels and best practices in warehouse management. Experience with warehouse-related inventory equipment and systems (RF Gun and ERP systems).
