Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of semiskilled maintenance and repair activities, including bridge repair and maintenance.
  • Work under the supervision of a skilled tradesperson or in a training capacity.
  • Operate heavy equipment and vehicles, including commercial driver's license (CDL) requirements.
  • Meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting, bending, and working at heights.
Requirements:
  • Two years of experience in maintenance or mechanical work under the supervision of a skilled tradesperson, or training through completion of a technical course in a bridge or technical trade.
  • Class B Commercial Driver License (CDL) or higher.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and operate heavy equipment.
