Position Summary

At the heart of our operations, Sous Chefs play a vital role in maintaining our high standards of service. They assist in overseeing kitchen operations, working closely with the Restaurant General Manager to ensure that food quality and safety are prioritized, thus delivering an outstanding dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the General Manager in daily restaurant operations and lead the culinary team, including recruitment, scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food preparation and facility maintenance.
  • Contribute to menu development and training on food preparation techniques.
  • Facilitate daily team briefings and weekly safety meetings.
  • Manage inventory and operational logistics, including receiving and maintaining stock levels.
  • Address guest concerns and uphold high standards for guest satisfaction.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as budget management and payroll.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Culinary degree or certification preferred.
  • ServSafe certification or equivalent is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 3 years of kitchen experience is required, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role preferred.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and remain on feet for extended periods.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven leadership abilities and capacity to foster a collaborative team atmosphere.
  • Fluency in English is required; bilingual candidates are preferred.

The anticipated salary range for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.
