Position Overview: We are looking for an Employment Services Coordinator to oversee and implement Supported Employment Services. This role encompasses:

  • Service Oversight: Supervise the activities of Employment Specialists to ensure high-quality service delivery that aligns with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
  • Support Provision: Offer both individual and group assistance to students with disabilities enrolled in local colleges and universities, including organizing group sessions on campus.
  • Collaboration: Work in partnership with university and college officials to facilitate student enrollment and attract new participants to the program.
  • Activity Coordination: Manage all program-related activities, including transportation logistics for participants, ensuring timely and effective service delivery.
  • Vocational Planning: Engage with participants, families, advocates, and educational institutions to create comprehensive vocational service plans, regularly monitoring and adjusting as necessary.

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field, along with one year of relevant experience in a vocational setting. Supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Alternatively, an Associate's degree or higher in Human Services, Business, or a related field, combined with three years of relevant experience. Supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Experience in a post-secondary educational environment is essential.
  • A valid New York State Driver's License, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation are required. Flexibility in scheduling is necessary to accommodate various work placements.
