Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare complex tax returns (S-corp, C-corp, Partnership, Individual, Estate, Trust, Gift, etc.) with minimal oversight.
  • Prepare or review payroll and sales/use tax returns on a monthly or quarterly basis.
  • Reconcile financial statements, including bank accounts and profit/loss statements.
  • Collaborate with senior staff on large client engagements, identifying issues, analyzing tax laws, and assisting clients in determining optimal strategies.
  • Maintain high-quality relationships with clients.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
  • CPA certification or eligibility.
  • Proficient in researching Federal, State, and Local tax codes and regulations.
  • Familiarity with accounting software; experience with UltraTax and QuickBooks is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with staff and clients.
