Job Overview:

As a Senior Power Electronics Engineer at Zobility, you will play a key role in the development of complex control systems for defense applications. Reporting to the WNY Defense Electrical Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for conceptual design, analysis, development, and testing of these systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of creative and independent individuals in the design and development of complex control systems.
• Collaborate with colleagues to foster a collaborative and knowledgeable atmosphere where teamwork is encouraged.
• Consult with customers and sales personnel to contribute to the development of new products.
• Prepare successful proposal designs and concepts, along with cost and schedule estimates.
• Validate conceptual problem solutions through trade studies and analyses.
• Create reliable designs through a comprehensive experimental development test program.
• Document designs, analyses, and test results with accurate and concise reports.
• Assist with interviewing and mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements:

• Experience in designing PCB's.
• Proficiency in circuit design, analysis, and testing.
• Specialization in power electronics.

Education:

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of experience with electrical design OR Master of Science Degree in Engineering with 8+ years' of experience with electrical design.
