Connect Staffing, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Technician to oversee operations on a production line within a packaging firm.

Shift: 2nd Shift 1:30pm-9pm, Monday to Friday

Qualifications for the Quality Control Technician:

  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment
  • High School diploma or equivalent certification
  • Bilingual candidates are preferred
  • Basic proficiency in computer applications, including MS Word and Excel
  • Must successfully complete a background check and drug screening
  • Manual dexterity to perform job functions
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 35lbs
  • Administrative capabilities
  • Experience with precision measuring tools, gauges, specifications, charts, blueprints, and diagrams

Key Responsibilities of the Quality Control Technician:

  • Efficiently and safely operate all manufacturing equipment
  • Inspect materials to ensure compliance with customer specifications
  • Conduct and document quality audits
  • Meet production standards for specific tasks within designated timeframes
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned work areas
  • Interpret blueprints and processing specifications
  • Test material properties utilizing laboratory equipment
  • Audit each department at least once per shift for production quality, inspection status, and adherence to procedures
  • Perform additional duties as required
