Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Iowa Heart Clinic in Ankeny. As a Cardiac Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and families, providing education and support to promote optimal health outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Iowa or a compact state.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for the Healthcare Provider.
  • Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter Dependent Adult Abuse training within three months of hire.
  • Three years of RN nursing experience, with two years of critical care experience or clinical cardiac equivalent experience preferred.
