Job Summary

VadaTech Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Electronics Test Technician to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing process, you will be responsible for performing product testing, diagnosing and troubleshooting product failures, and collaborating with engineering staff to resolve technical issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform functional testing of board and system level products to ensure quality and reliability
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot product failures using technical knowledge and expertise
  • Collaborate with engineering staff to resolve technical issues and improve product design
  • Provide detailed symptom descriptions for failures uncovered during functional testing
  • Adhere to manufacturing process instructions and established procedures to produce high-quality products
  • Follow all applicable work instructions to perform testing and repair processes
  • Take initiative to identify problems and their root causes, and participate in implementing solutions
  • Discuss problems encountered while testing/troubleshooting with supervisor and engineering staff, and recommend solutions to improve work efficiency
  • Escalate product and process issues to management and assist with problem resolution
Requirements
  • Minimum electronics certification from an accredited two-year technical or four-year engineering school
  • Minimum two years of experience as an electronics technician in a manufacturing test environment
  • Troubleshooting and identification of electronic and mechanical failure modes
  • Using test instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.
  • Basic networking knowledge required
  • Reading and understanding schematics, datasheets, and written work instructions
  • Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others in the workplace
  • Fluent domain of the English language: ability to read, write, and speak English well
  • Ability to carry out detailed written and oral instructions
