Position Overview
The role of a Daily Property Field Adjuster is to deliver exceptional claims handling services for our clients, focusing on daily claims within your designated area, which may encompass various perils.
Contractual Obligations:
- A contract will be issued promptly upon acceptance of your first claim assignment. This independent adjusting contract will detail compensation and other essential information regarding your role.
Qualifications and Licensure:
- Must reside within a specified distance of the assigned location and be willing to travel.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in property field adjusting.
- Possession of an independent adjusting license in your home state or a designated home state license if residing in a non-licensing state.
- Experience with wind, hail, theft, fire, water losses, and other perils is preferred.
- Must have reliable transportation, a computer, a digital camera, a ladder, and other necessary tools to fulfill adjuster responsibilities.
- Must be willing and able to climb roofs.
Technical Requirements:
- Smartphone with internet access.
- Proficiency in Xactimate and/or Symbility with an active subscription.
- Working laptop with reliable high-speed internet.
- Digital camera and other essential tools for performing adjuster duties.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
The physical requirements outlined here are representative and must be met by the independent contractor to successfully perform this role.
Travel is required within the designated working territory based on assignment locations.
Normal office or field claims environment. Ability to operate a vehicle for extended periods, including frequent entry and exit. Must be capable of conducting physical inspections of loss sites and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Availability for catastrophic loss events and willingness to work irregular hours, including potential overnight travel, is advantageous.
