Job Title: Director, Compensation

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Compensation to join our team at Pegasystems. As a key member of our Global Rewards team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of compensation strategies and programs that drive business results and attract, retain, and develop top talent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide thought leadership on compensation strategies and alternatives to address business needs.
  • Work with key stakeholders to provide comprehensive compensation insights and analysis to help recruit and retain key talent.
  • Analyze and diagnose compensation needs and issues, and provide proactive compensation analysis and solutions to address business needs.
  • Develop and implement annual compensation programs, policies, and procedures that align with business objectives.
  • Oversee the team to provide market intelligence and complete peer analyses to guide recommendations for Board/Executive compensation.
  • Establish credibility as a subject-matter expert across the team, demonstrating a deep understanding of Pegasystems, best-in-class employer branding, and the broader talent market.

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of compensation or related experience.
  • Management experience preferred.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills, with a focus on using automation to improve processes and enhance analysis.
  • Results-oriented, with the ability to navigate rapid change and ambiguity.
  • Ability to collect and analyze data, and prepare executive summaries and recommendations.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle highly sensitive information.
