Lead a Dedicated Team at The Rubin Home Assisted Living

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Resident Care Director to join our team at The Rubin Home Assisted Living in Saugus, MA. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the training and performance of licensed and non-licensed nursing staff, while ensuring the highest level of care and wellness for our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise the training and performance of licensed and non-licensed nursing staff
  • Educate and assist potential residents and their families with the admissions process
  • Provide tours of the facility and answer admission calls
  • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacies, and other healthcare vendors
  • Participate in multidisciplinary care plan meetings and ensure effective case management and follow-up practices
  • Ensure resident needs are met by coordinating and monitoring restorative services, activities, and related support services
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with staff, residents, and their families
  • Assist the executive director in developing and implementing policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Associates degree or higher in human service management, housing management, social work, or nursing
  • Experience in community health, human services, or assisted living preferred
  • RN or LPN nursing practice background
  • Strong understanding of assisted living, Medicaid, Medicare, and SWH programs
  • Completion of a 3-day orientation on assisted living and other required topics
  • Annual physical exam and negative Mantoux test
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and social skills
