Job Summary

Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer patient care according to hospital and department policies/procedures to ensure patient safety.
  • Operate radiological equipment in various care settings, including fluoroscopy, trauma, and the Operating Room.
  • Assist in teaching radiography students sound radiography principles.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to obtain clinical history and informed consent.
  • Assist physicians in performing examinations using standard department protocols and sterile techniques.
Requirements
  • Certification as an American Registered Radiologic Technologist within 12 months of hire.
  • Basic Life Support certification upon start.
  • Licensure as a Licensed Radiologic Technologist upon start.
  • Two years of combined classroom and clinical training in radiology.
  • Recent experience in a hospital/healthcare environment as a Radiologic Technologist or student.
  • Graduate of an accredited radiology school or program.
