Job Summary

G.A.S. Global is seeking a highly experienced Project Quality Manager to join our team in the Offshore Industry. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of our Quality Management System during projects and bids.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to assigned offshore projects and bids regarding quality contractual issues during the tender and project execution phase.
  • Support the implementation of the Company/Project Quality Management System activities.
  • Ensure the integrity of the Company/Project QMS is maintained when changes are made to the Company QMS.
  • Conduct external audits to vendors and subcontractors' QMS, as assigned.
  • Participate in management meetings to ensure coordination between quality activities and project management activities.
  • Develop and issue quality control specifications, quality control plans, inspection and test plans for the works, coordinating with technical departments and clients.
  • Ensure the issue of quality requirements to be incorporated in contractual documents with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Support the management of nonconformities and promote actions to prevent or eliminate potential non-conformities and their causes.
  • Support the management of client's cost of non-quality process.
  • Ensure knowledge and awareness of quality requirements within project teams and perform quality training activities.
  • Collect and analyze project quality data to organize and lead the Company/Project Quality Management Reviews.
  • Support the management of client lessons learned process.
  • Support the client customer satisfaction process implementation.
Requirements
  • Five (5) years of quality experience with a demonstrable track record in project quality management in the offshore industry.
  • Previous experience in auditing quality management systems based on the ISO 9001:2015 standard.
  • ISO 9001:2015 lead auditor certification.
  • Working knowledge of welding processes and their application.
  • Working knowledge of NDE processes and their application.
  • Working knowledge of coating (NACE) processes and their application.
  • Experience in developing ITPs, project quality plans, and quality control inspection plans.
  • Working knowledge of QC inspection equipment calibration practices.
  • Legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis.
  • Working knowledge of the management of change process.
  • Minimum 8 years of work experience in EPC.
Education/Training/Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree or five (5) years of project quality offshore experience as a project quality engineer in the offshore industry.
