Automotive Service Operations Manager

We are seeking a high-achieving Fixed Operations Manager and offer a COMPETITIVE COMPENSATION PACKAGE. We are prepared to provide PREMIUM PAY for the ideal candidate. You will collaborate with our Service Team to achieve customer service and revenue growth goals, ensuring our company remains competitive and innovative. Additionally, you will be responsible for maximizing our Fixed Operations potential to meet customer satisfaction objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the Service Department, Technicians, Parts Department, and Service Lane

  • Set and pursue departmental goals and objectives
  • Coordinate with the Parts Manager to ensure timely availability of parts for internal tasks
  • Work with staff to guarantee vehicles are serviced accurately and promptly
  • Participate in management meetings and lead Service Department meetings
  • Exhibit a results-driven, energetic, and customer service-focused leadership style
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer care
  • Ensure funding is pursued for completed service tasks in collaboration with our accounting team
  • Address and resolve customer complaints effectively
  • Inspire, train, develop, and recognize team members
  • Communicate with customers regarding necessary maintenance and service work efficiently
  • Maintain high standards for customer and employee satisfaction, as well as manufacturer CSI scores
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Prior experience in dealership Service Management
  • Understanding of dealership warranty processes and policies; familiarity with dealership financial statements; principles and practices for delivering customer service
  • Experience with automotive software such as DealerFX/Wiadvisor, AutoSoft DMS is advantageous. Our aim is to digitize our processes completely.
  • Ability to identify operational errors and implement corrective measures
  • Sound judgment in challenging situations
  • Professional demeanor in customer interactions
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
  • Resume submission and completion of an online assessment are required for immediate consideration
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and current residency is necessary
  • Successful completion of pre-employment testing, including background checks, MVR, and drug screening
