**About the Role:**

The Center for Justice Innovation seeks a skilled **Youth Engagement Specialist** to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with AIM participants, their families, and community partners to develop and implement mentorship programming activities. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people and contribute to our organization's mission.

You will be responsible for scheduling and facilitating individual mentorship meetings, group workshops, and community events. Additionally, you will oversee all elements of case planning for mentees, including coordination with external service providers, court appearances, and probation meetings.

We are looking for an individual with a high school diploma and 2-5 years of experience working with youth from marginalized communities or equivalent lived experience. Strong knowledge of community resources in Staten Island is a plus. The ideal candidate will have good judgment, a trauma-informed approach, excellent communication, and organizational skills.

**Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement mentorship programming activities for AIM participants
  • Schedule and facilitate individual mentorship meetings and group workshops
  • Oversee case planning for mentees, including coordination with external service providers
  • Provide referrals related to health, education, employment, and social services
