Position Summary: Leasing Specialists play a crucial role in the leasing, marketing, and fostering positive relationships with residents in multi-family residential communities. They manage lease signings and serve as a liaison for property owners. The ideal candidate will possess high energy, a genuine desire to impact lives positively, and a dedication to exceeding the expectations of our residents and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure model and target apartments are prepared for viewings, maintaining cleanliness in work areas, common spaces, and the office.
- Complete lease agreements and collect rental deposits.
- Effectively market the property by addressing inquiries, conducting tours, and highlighting community amenities.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of lease terms, specifications, and community policies.
- Keep informational materials updated and distribute them to local businesses and apartment locators.
- Regularly evaluate competitive properties and stay informed about market trends.
- Conduct outreach marketing at least once weekly.
- Develop and implement a resident retention program under the guidance of the Community Manager.
- Maintain all resident and property documentation.
- Handle resident requests and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
- Uphold a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Experience in property leasing, sales, and/or customer service.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong follow-up skills via email and phone.
- Familiarity with Yardi software is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
- A valid Driver's License is required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a desk.
- Capability to climb stairs as needed.
- Must be able to read documents, computer screens, and data.
- Ability to hear and comprehend verbal communications in person and over the phone.
- Occasionally required to lift or carry items weighing up to 20 pounds.
- Proficient in using mobile devices and applications for work-related tasks.
Work Environment:
- This position is primarily office-based but may require outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- The office environment is open and may include bright lighting, constant noise, and distractions.
Employment with RPM Living is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and possession of a valid driver's license.
