We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Supervisor to lead our team of phlebotomists in a hospital setting. As a Phlebotomy Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and directing all aspects of our phlebotomy operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and mentor a team of phlebotomists to ensure excellent patient care and efficient operations.
  • Manage patient flow, wait times, and inventory levels to optimize productivity and patient satisfaction.
  • Monitor and report on monthly productivity metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate phlebotomists' schedules and perform operational duties such as payroll and performance appraisals.
  • Partner with Human Resources to address employee relations issues and disciplinary actions.
  • Hire and train new phlebotomists to fill open positions.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, including patients, client office staff, and senior management.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve patient or client issues promptly.
  • Assist in the setup of new Patient Service Centers or Client Offices.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is a plus.
  • Previous experience as a phlebotomist, with 4 years preferred.
  • Prior supervisor experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to lead others.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office.
