We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Supervisor to lead our team of phlebotomists in a hospital setting. As a Phlebotomy Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and directing all aspects of our phlebotomy operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and mentor a team of phlebotomists to ensure excellent patient care and efficient operations.
- Manage patient flow, wait times, and inventory levels to optimize productivity and patient satisfaction.
- Monitor and report on monthly productivity metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate phlebotomists' schedules and perform operational duties such as payroll and performance appraisals.
- Partner with Human Resources to address employee relations issues and disciplinary actions.
- Hire and train new phlebotomists to fill open positions.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, including patients, client office staff, and senior management.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve patient or client issues promptly.
- Assist in the setup of new Patient Service Centers or Client Offices.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is a plus.
- Previous experience as a phlebotomist, with 4 years preferred.
- Prior supervisor experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to lead others.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
- Working knowledge of MS Office.
