About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable, secure, and performant software solutions that power our mobile shopping apps.

As a seasoned software engineer, you will have a strong background in mobile technologies, including React Native, and a passion for building responsive, efficient applications. You will work closely with our talented team of engineers to deliver high-quality products that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable, secure, and performant software solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and innovations

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced software engineer who is passionate about building innovative solutions. You will have a strong background in software development, excellent problem-solving skills, and a track record of delivering high-quality products.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
  • 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems experience
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $151,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $261,500/year in our highest geographic market.
